This August, as we celebrate Child Support Awareness Month, we highlight the tremendous achievements of the child support program, which collected $29.6 billion in payments this past year. These funds have supported 12.7 million children, ensuring financial stability and reducing child poverty for 1 in 5 children in the U.S. The program’s success is driven by innovative approaches, strong partnerships, and a commitment to fostering cooperative parenting.
