Financial Institute Data Matching

Financial Institution Data Matching (FIDM) requires all financial institutions doing business within each state to conduct a quarterly data match. This data match links the names of parents delinquent in their child support obligations with their financial accounts. When a match is identified, the state Child Support Enforcement (CSE) program may issue liens or levies on the accounts of the delinquent obligor to collect past-due child support.

Informatix provides data matching services to a number of government entities for several different applications including child support. Our company is the only large-scale provider of FIDM services, leading 33 states nationwide, and we are a leader of an 18-state FIDM Alliance.

Lien/Levy Processing

The most critical part of the FIDM process is to ensure that assets go to the children in need. Informatix’ automated lien and levy processing assists management in collecting located assets.

Maximized Outreach Services

Informatix provides robust, comprehensive outreach services to the financial community through a series of communications vehicles that informs them of the data match services and the ways in which they can convert to the new online reporting method. Our staff has extensive knowledge of FIDM and this knowledge is used to educate Financial Institutions (FIs) during the outreach process.

Help Desk Support

As part of our service offering for our data match and asset location projects, Informatix currently provides a dedicated toll-free line to allow FIs and participating states to access necessary information regarding their data match/asset verification programs.
